Milan's son Martin is a co-founder and the chief pilot at BRM AERO; together with his father he founded the company in the autumn of 2009 and leads it today as CEO. His background in automotive mechanics carries straight over into aircraft systems and hands-on problem-solving. He earned his UL pilot licence in 2012 and went on to earn a PPL a year later, and the flying experience he gathers feeds directly back into the development of every Bristell. Martin has built close, lasting relationships with distributors around the world and with the owners who come to Kunovice for their Bristell service inspections.

Milan is a co-founder of BRM AERO and today leads its development and design. He graduated in aircraft construction at the Antonín Zápotocký Military Academy in Brno and has worked in aviation since 1983 — experience spanning construction, design and international trade. In 2009 he founded BRM AERO together with his son Martin, with a simple but ambitious goal: to build the best aircraft in its category in the world. In every Bristell he holds to four essentials — safety, ergonomics, excellent flight characteristics and timeless design: a strong, rigid cockpit built around crew protection, with a whole-aircraft rescue parachute available across the range and fitted as standard on the certified B23; ergonomics that keep pilots fresh on long flights; handling that forgives beginners yet rewards experienced pilots; and lines kept deliberately simple and elegant, form following the aerodynamics.
